A woman who wanted a Marvel character tattoo was mortified that it looked like a penis.

Courtney Lyn wanted a tattoo of Rocket the Raccoon, a fictional character from the Marvel movie Guardians of the Galaxy, on her arm.

However, she was horrified after realizing that part of the design looked more phallic than expected, reports DailyStar.

She shared the video on TikTok, which has been viewed over two million times, leaving plenty of stitches.

The woman said in the video, “It was supposed to be a ball joint. But it doesn’t look like a ball joint, it looks like a penis!”

She then shows off the entire tattoo, showing Rocket holding a laser cannon while appearing to be kneeling on the ground.

Courtney showed the reference photo, adding, “Look at that ball joint in question, there’s a line there.

“He (the tattoo artist) followed it correctly, unfortunately. I don’t know if it’s a crease in the garment, a crack in the knee pad or whatever, but he followed it.

“I don’t want to correct someone who does it professionally.

“But if I saw this from an artist’s perspective, I’d probably think, ‘Hmmm, I’m not going to do this.

“Or, as some of you have suggested, do some shading.”

She also said the tattoo artist had worked on her before – adding that she watched him do the inking all the time.

However, it wasn’t until she got home and saw the tattoo in the mirror that she saw it for what it was.

Many TikTokers laughed realizing the same thing.

One said: “Only the veins are missing.”

Another wrote: “They probably did it on purpose. Whose kneecap does that look like?”

Some asked Courtney to make sure the tattoo artist covered the line when she came back for the finishing touches.

Courtney said: “I’m getting him colored, I’m getting another tattoo artist, and no I’m not giving him (Rocket) legs, he’ll be on his knees and I won’t be doing it red.”
