Tattoo Care Maker Mad Rabbit Closes $ 2 Million Funding Round


Crazy bunny, a Californian tattoo aftercare brand, closed a $ 2 million funding round led by Acronym Venture Capital with the participation of Marc Cuban and Stefon Diggs. With this funding, the company says it will continue to expand its brand and optimize its product offerings, manufacturing, operations and marketing efforts.

“In 2019 we were selling tattoo balm in our dorms, and in just two years we have successfully signed a deal with Mark Cuban and are now ready to seize even more opportunities with our new partner, Acronym Venture Capital and Joshua B Seigel, a team responsible for investing in some of the most prominent consumer brands, ”said Selom Agbitor, co-founder of Mad Rabbit with Oliver Zak. “We are delighted to begin the next chapter of our journey with our new investor strategy.”

Mad Rabbit products include tattoo balm, a Sunscreen SPF 30, and one soothing gel.

Thanks to an important social media presence, the brand has been able to organically reach a diverse community of tattoo enthusiasts. More recently, Mad Rabbit launched a series called “Spilling Ink,” which featured detailed stories of professional athletes like the goalie for the United States Women’s National Team. Ashlyn Harris and American Olympian swimmer Caeleb Dressel.
