Margot Robbie’s tattoo career went up in smoke

Margot Robbie is an excellent actress. She was phenomenal in “Bombshell”, “I, Tonya” and “Once Upon a Time … In Hollywood”. While the move was a smoldering pile of crap, Robbie was the only bright spot in “Suicide Squad”. So there is no reason to feel bad that she is giving up on her burgeoning tattoo “career”, Robbie will be fine. And to be brutally honest, she was a crappy tattoo artist.

Robbie was on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” to promote the upcoming “Birds of Prey”, when she told a story about “hanging up your tattoo gun”. [Rule number one: It’s a machine, not a gun.]

There must have been a lot of boredom on the set of “Suicide Squad” because that’s when Robbie started tattooing his friends and colleagues. She tattooed a bunch of emojis on Cara Delevingne’s toes. They looked … good. Then she tattooed “SKWAD” on a bunch of other actors, including herself. Today the tattoo looks, well, take a look for yourself.

What a wonderful tattoo that was totally professionally done under sanitary conditions.

Look, we’re going to give Robbie the same advice we give to a drunk college boy who just ordered his first tattoo kit from Amazon: Leave the tattooing to the professionals. If you want to learn how to tattoo properly, go ahead and do it. But if you run a tattoo assembly line every time you get drunk with a group of friends, that will be bad news for everyone. A bad tattoo could be the least of your worries – we’re talking about infections that could easily occur if your tattoo artist hasn’t been properly trained to deal with blood-borne pathogens.

So luckily for all of us, Robbie’s tattoo days are behind her. She’ll just have to stick to being unspeakably beautiful and, if Sunday goes the way she hopes, have an Oscar on her coat next to retired tattoo artist MACHINE.
