In addition to the cover variations, Marvel also revealed a previously announced temporary tattoo design, also by Bederman, which will be distributed by comic book retailers alongside copies of King in Black # 1.

Bederman will provide tattoo style cover variations for all five issues of the King in Black limited series. King in Black # 1 will be released on December 2.

Here is a gallery of the first two tattoo variant covers, as well as the temporary tattoo:

Marvel is sending bundles of 25 bundles of temporary tattoos to retailers, with every comic book store guaranteed to receive at least one bundle – with an additional bundle for every 25 copies of King in Black # 1 main cover they order. .

For fans who for whatever reason might want a full pack for themselves, Marvel is selling them to retailers for $ 10 per pack. If you buy a whole pack and put them on your body, be sure to send a photo to Newsarama! (Donny Cates, that goes for you too!)

Sadly, Marvel hasn’t shared a picture of what the tattoos will look like – perhaps the Knull Spiral?

“After a campaign across the galaxy, Knull’s Death March arrives on Earth and, worse yet, he didn’t come alone!” reads Marvel’s official description of King In Black # 1. “With an army of hundreds of thousands of symbiont dragons at his command, the King in Black is a force unlike any hero on earth.”

The deadline to order King in Black temporary tattoos is November 2, with an expected arrival in stores on December 2 – the same day King in Black # 1 (of 5) goes on sale.
