Kate Hudson had a front row seat for her son Ryder’s first tattoo appointment.
The 43-year-old actress filmed the 18-year-old as he got the letters “CBR” tattooed on his right forearm on Tuesday.
The ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’ star filmed his eldest doing some body art at the Sixty Ink boutique before posing for a photo with Ryder and tattoo artist Claudio Traina.
Hudson is also the mother of son Bingham, 10, and daughter Rani, 3, with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy and fiancé Chris Fujikawa, respectively.
Ryder’s tattoo appears to feature the initials of his siblings, as well as the initial of his father Chris Robinson’s 12-year-old daughter, Cheyenne.
The teenager had a major year, turning 18 in January and graduating from high school five months later.
Hudson posted photos on Instagram from the June 3 ceremony at Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences, which she attended alongside her ex-husband Robinson, 55.
“Today was a big day for our family,” the Fabletics co-creator captioned the slideshow on social media earlier this month.
“[It was] a day you’re talking about [sic] when your kids are little and say things like, “Hey, one day it’s going to be 2022 and you’re graduating from high school!” As if that day was so far away that it was barely accessible. And then here we are!”
Hudson praised his “amazing” son at the time, adding, “Raising you has been one of the great gifts and pleasures of my life. You bring so much to everyone’s life. You are kind, loving, generous, patient, hilarious and one of a kind.
Ryder has been dating Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow’s 19-year-old daughter, Iris Apatow, since April 2021.
The couple waited to make their romance Instagram official until February of the following year.
When Ryder honored their anniversary with an Instagram slideshow in April, Mann, 50, commented with heart emojis. Iris’ sister Maude, 24, commented: “Cuties”.
