Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert and Steve Lacy Debut Matching Tattoos

What do Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert and Steve Lacy have in common? Besides the fact that they are all world famous musicians, they all now share matching ink.

Internet guitarist Lacey took to Instagram late Tuesday night (August 9) to share a photo of the trio. While it’s unclear if she’s responsible for the ink, LA tattoo artist Mez Afram took the mirror selfie. Kanye West, Lil Uzi and Steve Lacy all pose with their arms outstretched to show off the new body art.

As Lacey notes in the caption, the tattoos all said, “Technically, we’re here forever.” All three artists have the ink in the same place – on the inside of the arm, just above the elbow.

Lacy was among the performers who appeared on Ye’s Donda Countdown live stream last year. The guitarist kept quiet about the experience, simply telling GQ, “That was cool, that was cool.”

Over the years, Kanye West and Lil Uzi haven’t always been in agreement. In 2020, Uzi claimed that Ye “don’t fuck with [him].” Shortly after, Kanye tweeted that he liked Uzi and explained that he said he felt the same way about Steve Jobs all the time.

Then, in 2021, Lil Uzi called Kanye West a “fake pastor” and clowned Ye in alleged group chat messages. “Yeah that sucks,” Lil Uzi said in the posts. “It feels like the All-Star Game,” he added, apparently commenting on the number of featured guests on the tracklist.

Meanwhile, Kanye West raved about Steve Lacy when he released his album Gemini Rights last month. The Compton native took to Instagram to thank his followers.

Kanye jumped into the comments section calling “Gemini Rights” “magnificent.” He added that he thought Lacy was “one of the most inspiring people on the planet”.
