I despise icebreaker questions. To me, that’s the kind of thing a corporate jerk came up with in order to find a way to appear to be a human being that you can relate to among their employees. The idea being that if everyone talked about their favorite movie, they wouldn’t just be coworkers, they would become friends. Icebreakers are dumb and I despise them. Or at least I did. Then I was asked, “What’s your favorite meme?” ”
Ermahgerd! How could someone choose just one ?! Personally, if I was forced to choose at gunpoint, I would probably have to side with a woman yelling at a cat. This one is timeless and I can never think of a case where it wouldn’t make me laugh. But, on the other hand, it’s not always about LOLs. Sometimes the world is set on fire all around you and you just don’t feel good … or do you?
As silly as it sounds at first glance, memes are the way we communicate these days. We pass them back and forth with everyone in our lives. Whatever the situation, there is always a meme that complements it perfectly.
The lifespan of a meme can be a few days, a few weeks, or like these tattoos, forever. I mean, I don’t know about you, but I’ll never watch Michael Jordan without thinking about the crying meme. And I say that as someone who considers themselves to be a Chicago Bulls fan.
The great philosopher Doge once said of this tattoo gallery: “Wow. Such tattoos. Lots of goodness.”
